Middlebury sets theme for Memorial Day Parade

MIDDLEBURY — Middlebury American Legion Post 27 will once again conduct the annual Middlebury Memorial Day Parade. This year’s parade, “Honoring our Heroes,” will be on Monday, May 30, at 9 a.m.
 Those interested in participating should contact the legion at 388-9311 indicating the type of entry and the number of people taking part. Participants are asked to keep in mind the intent of the parade, which is to pay tribute to those that have fought for this great nation. No political signs or banners will be permitted.
Assembly for the parade will be at the parking lot on Porter Field Road (off South Street) at 8 a.m.
