MUHS field hockey falls in season opener

MIDDLEBURY — The Middlebury Union High School field hockey team opened on Friday with a 4-2 setback to visiting Hartford.
The Tigers will look for their first win on Thursday, when they host Rice.
On this past Friday, Hartford’s Emma Libby sparked her team with a hat trick.
Lily Smith scored both the Tiger goals, and Bridget Audet made her varsity debut in the cage with 10 saves.
