Brandon artist exhibits in Jeffersonville gallery: Bryan Memorial Gallery selects Jim Samler painting for juried exhibit
One of Jim Samler’s paintings was selected for a juried show at the Bryan Memorial Gallery in Jeffersonville. Samler is a resident of Brandon and was the Otter Valley Union High School art teacher before retiring a few years ago. His painting features two white birds flying in a forest. The exhibit “Fantastical Lanscapes & Imaginary Places” is an exhibit sure to take you to places you’ve never been. Work by artists who excel in creating magical places, sometimes created from imagination, sometimes inspired by real landscapes, fills the Jeffersonville gallery’s main space. If you’re going north, take the opportunity to escape from reality and enjoy art that celebrates imagination in Jeffersonville.
The gallery is located at 180 Main Street in Jeffersonville. For more info call (802) 644-5100 or visit bryangallery.org.
