Neat Repeats awards $26,284 in grants

MIDDLEBURY — Neat Repeats recently announced its list of fall 2017 grants awarded to local residents and organizations. Store volunteers voted to award $26,284 to the following.
$5,000 to Friends of Middlebury Hockey capital campaign pledge; $3,750 to HOPE Housing Solutions; $3,500 to ARCH room renovation pledge; $2,700 in scholarships to MAUHS, MUHS, VUHS; $1,669 to Family Assistance (7); $1,500 to the CVOEO Food Shelf; $1,500 to the HOPE Food Shelf; $1,000 to Have-a-Heart Food Shelf; and, $1,000 to the Vergennes Food Shelf.
Also receiving grants were $1,000 to Maiden Vermont  for risers; $650 for educational opportunities (4); $600 to the Whiting Community Cupboard; $535 to Orwell First Response (CPR trainer); $500 to the John Graham Shelter Food Shelf; $500 to Sheldon Museum Children’s Programs; $500 to Ferrisburgh Children’s Theater, and $380to WomenSafe Clients for clothing (10).
