Letter to the editor: Many helped at accident scene

I want to thank all the people who helped get me safely (and unhurt) out of my car when it almost went into the New Haven River in Lincoln in a white-out on Dec. 18. It was a tricky rescue on a steep bank and in nasty weather.
Everyone was  kind and helpful: fire, EMTs and police, as well as April Mastersson, who happened to be passing by and who stayed with me and kept me focused until the Lincoln firepeople arrived.
Thank you all!
