Linda Lee Davis 65, formerly of Middlebury
HANCOCK — Linda Lee Davis, 65, formerly of Middlebury, died Tuesday, June 23, 2020, at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center after brief illness.
She was born July 31, 1954 in Ames, Iowa, the daughter of Ronald Lee Davis and Carol (Willits) Davis. After high school she completed training as a nurse’s aid working in that field in Iowa until moving to Vermont.
Linda was of Anglo-Catholic faith and was a member of Messiah Chapel in Middlebury. She enjoyed spending time with her daughter and her cat Boo.
Linda volunteered at Turning Point Center in Middlebury.
She is survived by her daughter Jennifer Davis of Middlebury; by her mother Carol Davis of Coon Rapid, Iowa; by her brothers John (Lori) Davis, of Ankeny, Iowa and Glenn (Rachel) Davis, of Crestview, Fla.;, by her sisters Kim (Phil) Irby, of Fort Walton Beach, Fla., and Julie (Art) Free, of Glidden, Iowa.
She was predeceased by her father.
Due to the COVID-19 restrictions private services will be held on Thursday, July 2, 2020, at Sanderson-Ducharme Funeral Home with the R.T. Rev. John Schultz officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Turning Point Center.
