Tri-Town boil-water order ended
BRIDPORT — Tri-Town Water District officials on Friday morning lifted the boil-water order that had been in effect since Monday afternoon.
That action was taken after Tri-Town water passed qualtiy tests on Tuesday and Wednesday. State officials, who ordered the boil order on Monday and reviewed the tests on Thursday, gave Tri-Town the go-ahead to end the boil order on Friday.
The boil order, which followed two water main breaks, had applied to Tri-Town customers’ drinking and cooking water in Addison, Bridport and Shoreham.
