New book highlights American heroes

MIDDLEBURY COLLEGE FACULTY member Connor Williams served as lead historian for the Congressional commission that recommended new namesakes for military bases previously honoring Confederate leaders. In their new book, “A Promise Delivered,” Williams and commission vice-chair Ty Seidule detail the group’s work and the lives of the 10 Americans chosen as the bases’ new namesakes.
