PALMYRA, Va. — Kati Eileen Miller, age 42, passed away peacefully on Sept. 16, 2025, after a struggle with metastatic cancer. She was surrounded by loving souls as we all told our favorite Kati Miller stories.

She was born in Middlebury, Vt., April 3, 1983, to Rita Betourney and Rick Miller.

Her smile, amazing laugh, beautiful sense of humor, heartfelt kindness, deep listening skills and beautiful soul were the attributes she was known for.

Kati loved animals and spent most of her career as a Vet Tech at two veterinary hospitals. She ended her career starting a business, Canine Fundamentals, walking nine to eleven dogs two to three times per week. She also specialized as a consultant to help people build better relationships with their dogs.

She is survived by her spouse, Spencer Campbell, who she married Dec. 14, 2014, in Middlebury, Vt.; her father, Rick Miller and stepmother Jeanne Miller; her mother, Rita Betourney; Spencer’s parents, Jim and Jill Campbell; brother Jace and partner Ciara; and many uncles, aunts and cousins.
