Letter to the editor: If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it
In response to a recently posted Op Ed, I would suggest the best approach is for people to view the video themselves. I would also encourage people to view the Vermont Fish & Wildlife and related board meetings available on-line to gain a better perspective rather than listen to blatant partisanship attempting to influence public opinion. The focus of the Senate Committee on Natural Resources and Energy needs to be on real issues affecting Vermonters, such as bill S.311 dealing with Vermont’s housing crisis and not wasting time undoing a wildlife management system that has worked extraordinarily well for decades. Colloquial folk wisdom is particularly apt here: “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.”
