Three dairy producers win big grants

AT A NOV. 8 announcement of Dairy Business Innovation Center grants in Waterbury, products were on display from grant recipients Cabot Cheese, which got funds to enhance its Middlebury plant, and lu*lu Artisan Ice Cream, which got money to bolster its Vergennes plant. Goshen’s Ice House Farm also won a grant.

Three Addison County businesses have received a combined $1.3 million in grant money to bolster production of their respective dairy products.
