WHITE RIVER JUNCTION — Top-seeded Hartford eliminated the No. 8 Mount Abraham Union High School field hockey team from the Division II postseason on Oct. 27, 8-1, in a quarterfinal matchup.

Madison Willey and Kamryn Brower each recorded hat tricks for the 13-2 Hurricanes, and Madison Barwood scored twice. Hartford goalie Paige Vielleux made one save.

Hailee Allen, who scored the game-winner in the Eagles’ first-round victory over Brattleboro earlier last week, scored for Mount Abe, which finished 3-12-1.
