New Haven talk to explore history of Bristol Railroad
WHILE THE BRISTOL Railroad ceased operating in 1930, the former Bristol train depot (pictured here in 1910) and other vestiges of the old railway’s history remain. The former train station, located on North Street, is now a private residence.

For nearly 40 years, the former Bristol Railroad hauled passengers, potatoes and a variety of locally made products from Bristol to New Haven and beyond.
