Area students earn diplomas from Adult Learning

MIDDLEBURY — On the evening of Aug. 15, Vermont Adult Learning’s Middlebury Learning Center hosted a ceremony to celebrate the accomplishments of its Addison County students over the past year. The ceremony honored those who earned a diploma through Vermont’s High School Completion Program as well as those who earned their GED. Students inducted into the National Adult Education Honor Society were also honored. Twelve students achieved their diploma or GED, and six students were nominated for the National Adult Education Honor Society.

Graduates included Claire Bruley (and Zephyr, her service dog), Samantha Martin and Logan Pierro.

National Adult Education Honor Society inductees were Claire Bruley (and Zephyr), Mary Lafountain, Amerae Littlefield and Luciano Velázquez Vázquez.
