Monkton news: Boys Scouts spaghetti dinner, auction is back
MONKTON — It’s Back!!
Troop 525 is finally able to hold its first annual Erik Davis Spaghetti Supper & Silent Auction since the start of the pandemic. The dinner and auction will be held on Saturday, May 6, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Monkton Central School. The price per adult will be $10, while children under 12 will cost $5. The menu will consist of spaghetti with homemade sauces, roll, salad, dessert and beverage, including coffee if desired. The spaghetti will include gluten free and vegetarian options. Enjoy an evening out, bid on some great items and support your local Scouts all in one sitting!
Green-Up Day
Green-Up Day is also on May 6. Keep watch for information as to where you can get Green-Up bags and other info.
Russell Memorial Library
Starting in May, the library will host a story hour on the second and fourth Saturday of the month (May 13th and 27th) from 10 to 11 a.m. This will be a fun time with stories, songs and a simple craft. This will continue each month until further notice. All are welcome! For more information call 802-453-4471. If no answer, leave a message and your phone number and someone will get back to you. Visit the library for education, information and lots of fun!
