Vermont State Police Log for Dec. 22

ADDISON COUNTY — Vermont State Police did not report any criminal investigations, arrests or citations in Addison County between Dec. 12 and 19. Troopers responded to two incidents in which tractor-trailer truck accidents blocked traffic on local highways during the Dec. 16 snowstorm.

State police reported that Route 22A in the area of North Cream Hill Road in Bridport was closed at around 5:08 p.m. last Friday while a big truck was pulled back onto the road. The highway was reopened around 10 minutes before 6 p.m.

Separately, traffic was delayed in the southbound lane of Route 7 in Waltham at around 9:08 p.m. that night when a big truck got stuck on the hill in the middle of both southbound lanes. Police got the unit moving and roadway cleared by about 7 minutes to 9 p.m.

That’s all the activity state police reported in Addison County this week.
