VUHS softball heads to D-III final

It took the No. 2 seed Vergennes Union two innings of Tuesday’s Division III semifinal to adjust to the less-than-lightning-speed offerings of Brie Howe-Lynch, who took the mound for No. 6 Green Mountain Union.
