Two locals make Vermont Sports Hall of Fame

CONNIE LAROSE OF Bristol coached many successful high school sports teams over 50 years, including five Division II girls’ basketball titles. She will be inducted into the Vermont Sports Hall of Fame this spring.

Two longtime Bristol residents area among this year’s 13 Vermont Sports Hall of Fame inductees, highly accomplished former high school girls’ basketball coach Connie LaRose and world championship horseshoe pitcher Debra Brown.
