Two longtime Bristol residents area among this year’s 13 Vermont Sports Hall of Fame inductees, highly accomplished former high school girls’ basketball coach Connie LaRose and world championship horseshoe pitcher Debra Brown.
Bristol horseshoe pitcher Debra Brown has been throwing horseshoes for over 40 years, picking up a plethora of state, regional and world championship titles along the way.
