Jean Wheeler Anderson, 81, of Ferrisburgh
FERRISBURGH — Jean Anderson 81, of Ferrisburgh died Dec. 18, 2024, after battling with dementia for many years. Jean passed away peacefully at home with her husband of 60 years, Nils Anderson, at her side.
Jean was born Feb. 25, 1943, in Waltham, Mass., to Clarence and Mary Wheeler. Jean attended first through eighth grade in Ferrisburgh and graduated from Vergennes High School. Jean started work at Chittenden Bank as a teller shortly after graduation and retired at age 55 as a loan officer.
Jean loved life, loved family, loved her neighbors and loved her many years of retirement and many winters in Florida.
Jean is survived by her husband of 60 years, Nils Anderson, and by her brother, Robert Wheeler, and her many cousins, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and nieces and nephews.
Jean was predeceased by her sister, Joan Tweety; mother, Mary Wheeler; and father, Clarence Wheeler.
