Wilfred Joseph Lamoureux Jr., 65, of Vergennes

VERGENNES — Wilfred Joseph Lamoureux, Jr., age 65, passed away Jan. 8, 2025, at his home in Vergennes.

Wilfred was born in Middlebury on Aug. 9, 1959. He was the son of Wilfred and Janet (Austin) Lamoureux Sr. He grew up on the family farm in Shoreham, working with his family in his earlier years. He received his education in Shoreham and Middlebury schools. He joined the United States Army and served in Germany. Following his Honorable Discharge, he returned home and began his working career as a carpenter. Unfortunately, he was forced to retire due to a disability in 2010. He was an avid fisherman.

He is survived by his son; Adam Lamoureux and a daughter; Courtney Arnold; his father; Wilfred Lamoureux, Sr.; one brother; John David Lamoureux; four sisters; Darcy Lamoureux, Dawn Angier, Connie Bilodeau and Julie Whittemore; three grandchildren; Olivia, Gabriel, and Caleb. Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive him.

All services are private.
