ARTHUR GREENOUGH LAFOUNTAIN JR.

EAST MIDDLEBURY — Art passed away at home at the age of 93 surrounded by his family after a tough battle with cancer.

He was the son of Arthur Greenough LaFountain Sr. and Julia LaFountain (Kelsey). He was born and raised in Cornwall.

A veteran of the United States Army that loved his family and hunting.

He is predeceased by his loving wife Patricia A. Charron, his parents, siblings, daughters Tina M. Holmes, Stephanie Masterson, sons Michael LaFlam, Lonnie LaFlam and Gary Peter LaFlam.

He is survived by his children; Marc LaFountain, Arthur Greenough LaFountain III, Julia Schroeder (LaFountain), Mary LaFountain, Arthur LaFountain, Jimmy LaFountain, Melissa LaFountain, Theresa LaFountain, Barbara Gevry, Mary Forand, Chere Rhodes, Tom LaFlam, Christopher LaFlam, Kathy Lafayette and Jeanne Lane. Along with many nieces, nephews, grandkids and great grandkids, to include Erika Murray who was able to love and tend to him in his final months.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at the New Haven Cemetery beginning at 1 p.m. ◊
