Mark Kyle Mayo, 50, of Bristol
BRISTOL — Mark Kyle Mayo, 50, of Bristol, passed away peacefully on Jan. 5, 2025, after a long courageous battle with lung cancer.
He was born in Burlington, Vt., on Feb. 22, 1974, son of the late Stanley Mayo Sr. and Caroline Mayo of Monkton. Mark grew up in Monkton, attended Monkton Elementary School and then Mt. Abraham Union High School. After school, Mark worked for A.C. Hathorne Roofing Company for 30 years. Mark loved to hunt and fish, and he loved the outdoors and enjoyed gardening. He was a big-hearted man who loved his friends and family.
Mark is survived by his life-long partner, Linda Rochon of Bristol and her son, Shawn Curavoo; his two brothers, Stanley Mayo Jr. of Lincoln and his wife Chris, and Keith Mayo and his wife Natasha of Monkton; and sister, Susan Mayo of Charlotte and partner Rick Tenney; and many nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly. Mark was predeceased by his sister Robin Mayo.
There will be a celebration of Life at a later date. Mark will be missed dearly by all.
