TIMOTHY MICHAEL PIERCE

WINOOSKI — Timothy Michael Pierce passed away unexpectedly Dec. 3, 2024, at the age of 58.

He suffered from a lifelong illness and bravely fought it every day. He went to college and received his associates degree from Burlington College.

Tim lived at The Courtyard in Winooski for the last 20 years. He had a keen sense of humor, a gentle, loving spirit and was loved by all who knew him. He was a generous soul who would help at any time.

Although Tim was handicapped with his disease, he still got around as best he could.

He was a strong supporter of many animal and environmental rights groups.

Timothy was born on Long Island to Nathaniel Pierce Jr. and Lynne Stieg. He was predeceased by his brother Richard, who called him almost every day.

He is survived by his mother, Lynne LeClair; sister Catherine DiMarco; brother Nathaniel Pierce III; stepsister Jessy LeClair; stepbrother Andy LeClair; stepdads John Hazard and David LeClair; and niece Nina Pierce.

A celebration of life will commence on Dec. 14, at Brown McClay funeral home in Bristol, Vt., from 1-4 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to animal rights and environmental groups of their choice. Although Tim was not financially well off, he still vigorously supported several charities. ◊
