Letter to the editor: Lanpher’s loss is bad for all of us

My heart sank to see that Diane Lanpher lost the election and by so few votes. It certainly shows very conflicted, ill-informed voters during these troubling times. It was also very short-sighted by the voters in a district in which I lived for 33 years. Talk about throwing the baby out with the bath water. Diane was a genuine keeper and very hard worker for Vermonters. I fear for where we are headed now. Thank you, Diane for all your many years of hard work, dedication, listening and service.
