Area schools manage students’ phone use

IN ADDISON COUNTY, practices and policies regarding students’ phone use vary amongst school districts, though most require phones to be put away for the duration of the school day. A few local schools have updated their phone policies for the 2024-2025 school year, and one is seeking feedback on the future of its cellphone practices.

A new school year is well underway and learning communities across the nation and in Vermont are cracking down on students’ use of cellphones during school hours.
