Letter to the editor: Curiosity is in short supply

While I do not exactly recall the content of the essay titled “Quantum Engines,” by John Mayer Aug. 22, 2024, the commentary by Brian Carter of Salisbury of Sept. 5, 2024, caught my attention. Mr. Mayer’s physicist’s curiosity and wonder reminded me of the great world-known scientist, Albert Einstein’s basis for his many mental accomplishments and I quote, “I have no talents, I am only passionately curious.”

If only more amongst us would practice more curiosity within the complex issues that at times plague us, whether within our community and/or worldwide, perhaps we would enjoy a healthier and safer world.
