Middlebury Police Log: Reports of man asking for sexual favors

MIDDLEBURY — Middlebury police received separate reports on July 26 about a man allegedly requesting sexual favors from women in Seymour Street and South Village Green neighborhoods. The case remains under investigation.

Meanwhile, in a separate series of incidents, police dealt with Joey Ewen, 47, who is houseless. That same night, at around 10:30 p.m., police cited Ewen for disorderly conduct, criminal threatening and assault on law enforcement by bodily fluids, following an incident at Porter Hospital.
