Video: Ilsley Library expansion plans

MIDDLEBURY — Architects are firming up plans for a $16.5 million expansion and renovation of Middlebury’s Ilsley Library, with May 7 tentatively flagged for a local bond vote.

ReArch Company and Wiemann Lamphere Architects have completed schematic designs and cost estimates for the project, which will remove the library’s existing additions, restore the historic 1924 building, replace critical systems (HVAC, elevator, plumbing, electricity), and construct a new, two-story addition.
