Updated: Middlebury Rotary seeks local grant application
ADDISON COUNTY — In the spring of 2023, the Rotary Club of Middlebury provided more than 20 local organizations with more than $50,000 for projects which addressed homelessness, elderly services, childcare, poverty eradication, hunger, health, youth sports and economic development.
The club is now accepting applications for this spring’s round of grants.
The Middlebury Rotary Club focuses its human energy and money primarily in seven areas of concern as selected by Rotary International: conflict prevention and resolution–fostering peace; disease prevention and treatment; water and sanitation; maternal and child health; basic education and literacy; economic and community development; and protecting the environment.
If you think they might be able to help your organization, visit middleburyrotary.org to find out more. If your request seems compatible with their guidelines, complete the Grant Application form found on the website in the “Request help from Rotary” section.
Applications for financial support in 2024 are now being accepted. Please submit your application on or before March 29 (this story originally had a deadline of March 22).
