Lincoln news for Feb. 29

LINCOLN — Burnham Presents welcomes Larry & Joe to the stage on Saturday, March 2, at 7:30 p.m. at Burnham Hall. The duo is composed of Grammy-nominated bluegrass musician, Joe Troop and Venezuelan Llanera music legend, Larry Bellorín. Together they perform a fusion of Venezuelan and Appalachian folk music on harp, banjo, cuatro, fiddle, maracas, guitar and upright bass. The program they offer features a distinct blend of their musical inheritances and traditions as well as storytelling about the ways that music and social movements unite.

Admission is general $15 and generous $20-$25. Doors open at 7 p.m. Refreshments will be available.


The annual town reports have been delivered. If you did not receive yours, please stop by the town office to pick one up, and to let them know your correct mailing address for this time of year. Please bring the report with you to Town Meeting.


Town and School District Meeting will be held on Monday, March 4, at 6 p.m. at Burnham Hall. Voting for town and school officers and the Vermont Presidential Primary will be held on Tuesday, March 5, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Burnham Hall.
