Note: This letter was submitted to Senators Chris Bray and Ruth Hardy. A copy was also given to the Addison Independent.

I am writing in regard to the actions of the current States Attorney of Addison County [Eva Vekos]. Although she has not been convicted of a crime yet, her actions during the time of arrest and the subsequent email sent yesterday shows that she is anti-law enforcement and that in itself goes against the mission of a prosecutor. Her actions are as though she is a child who is throwing a tantrum after they were punished for breaking a rule.

Her email clearly shows a huge lack of professionalism and will certainly affect any cases she prosecutes in the future.

Please take her actions seriously and help restore faith in the justice system in Addison County. My understanding is that the State Senate would need to impeach this individual.
