Little City seeks new councilor
VERGENNES THIS SATURDAY will celebrate the opening of the Connector Trail between New Haven Road and Monkton Road that runs behind city schools and through wetlands and wooded areas. A ceremony is scheduled for 10 a.m.

The Vergennes City Council on Oct. 10 set a Nov. 28 deadline for residents to send letters of interest — and any supporting materials — if they wish to become the latest appointee to the board.
