Council OKs fire station study

The Vergennes City Council last week approved spending up to $52,748 on an in-depth study of the needs of the city’s 78-year-old Green Street fire station. The project will produce, according to meeting documents, “base plans” that could be used to create construction estimates suitable for bonding.
