FERRISBURGH — The family of Marilyn Woods of Ferrisburgh, who died Sept. 10, 2023, invites you to attend an “open house”-style celebration of life on Saturday, Oct. 21, from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., at the Bixby Memorial Free Library in Vergennes.

“Mrs. Woods” was a beloved schoolteacher at Vergennes Union Elementary School for 42 years. This celebration of her life and legacy will include displays of her remarkable teaching career, including photos, books, art, handmade classroom material, and (of course) Legos!  Please stop by to share your favorite stories and memories of Marilyn. ◊
