CORNWALL — Barbara Ann (Roberts) Marquis of Cornwall, Vt. Passed away Sept. 5, 2023, at her home. She was the daughter of Leonard Karl Roberts and Beatrice (Soulia) Roberts.

She was an active member of the VFW, lived in Monkton, New Haven and finally settled in Cornwall. She worked for the Middlebury Inn, then retired from Middlebury College.

She is survived by her daughter, Kim M. Candido and Husband Michael Candido of Lewis, N.Y., and their one child, Jeremiah Candido; her son, William Joseph Marquis III and wife Sarah Marquis, along with their three children, Dillon, Austin and William Marquis of Burlington, Vt.; her brother Lenny Roberts of Virginia and brother and sister-in-law John and Jean Roberts of Vergennes, Vt.

A celebration of life will be held for Barb on Oct. 27 from 4-7 p.m. at the VFW on Exchange St. in Middlebury, Vt.◊
