Letter to the editor: Jewish unity vigil planned in Middlebury on Wednesday

As we mourn the brutal murder of more than 800 Jews — the largest massacre of Jews since the Holocaust — Middlebury Chabad and Middlebury Jewish students are holding a Unity Vigil for ALL in the Middlebury College/Addison County Community.
We encourage you to come and to invite your friends and professors, Jewish and not Jewish alike.
We are broken as a community and our hearts ache for the loss of life.
This is not just an attack on Israel, this is an attack on the Jewish people.
We are one.
We cannot sit idle.
We will join together in lighting candles, in prayer and acts of tzedakah.
The vigil will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 11, at 5:15 p.m. (Program starts at 5:22). It will be held on the Middlebury College campus at the Main Quad in front of Wilson Hall.
