New Middlebury tax rate reflects increase

The Middlebury selectboard on Tuesday unanimously approved a fiscal year 2024 municipal property tax rate of 86.48-cents per $100 of property value, an increase of roughly 4.1 cents compared to the current rate — an increase of about 5%.
