KATHLEEN MCNULLA STEARNS

FERRISBURGH — Kathy McNulla Stearns, 77, passed away on Wednesday, June 28, 2023, surrounded by friends and family, at her home in Ferrisburgh. She was born Jan. 17, 1946, in Burlington, the daughter of James and Kathleen Norton McNulla.

Kathy enjoyed reading mystery novels, listening to music, and spending time at her lakeside camp.

She was predeceased by her husband Leonard (Sonny) Stearns on Jan. 21, 2009, and her daughter, Deborah Stearns on June 16, 2018.

Kathleen is survived by her son, Rick and his children, Jordan, Allyson, Jeffrey, and Tucker, as well as her son Rob and his wife, Michelle, and their son, Jack.

Special thanks to Elaine, Doris, Tammie, Helen, Sylvia, and Penny, whose care and love helped her to remain active and in her home.

Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, July 8, from 10 to 11 a.m., at Brown-McClay Funeral Home in Vergennes. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 8, at Brown-McClay Funeral Home in Vergennes.
