Monkton news for Jun. 22

MONKTON — Hear Ye, Hear Ye! Come one, come all to the 35th Annual Strawberry Festival and Book Sale, hosted by Monkton’s own Russell Memorial Library.

This great event will be held at the New Monkton Town Hall and library building in Monkton Ridge on Sunday, June 25, from 10 a.m. ‘til 2 p.m. You will be greeted with those delicious and local strawberries along with hot dogs and lemonade, live music, fun activities for families, great books for sale and lots of fun to kick off the summer season. Bring your appetite, your kids, join in the fun with friends and neighbors. Don’t miss it! If you have books you wanted to donate, you can do so until June 22.
