Janet L. Caldwell of Middlebury

JANET L. CALDWELL

MIDDLEBURY – Janet L. Caldwell knew Jesus nearly all her life, at age three faithfully walking alone some five blocks to church every Sunday. She was baptized in the Holy Spirit and became a true healing prayer minister. She suffered a stroke in 2017 but through diligence and prayer largely recovered. She finally succumbed to congestive heart failure on March 10, 2023. She resides in Glory now!

Janet worked for Counseling Service of Addison County for fourteen years as a very accomplished and well-loved child psychologist.

For many years she worked out with the local bone builders exercise group. She faithfully attended both Valley Bible Church and the New Haven Reformed Church.

Janet is survived by her husband, Peter Caldwell; her two sons, Robert and James McIver; and her three brothers, George, Jim, and Peter Evans.

A memorial service honoring the life of Janet Caldwell of Middlebury will be held Saturday, April 29, 2023, at Valley Bible Church, Route 125, East Middlebury at 1 p.m. Reception will follow the service in the Fellowship Hall.

Arrangements under the direction of Sanderson-Ducharme Funeral Home.
