Elizabeth Dianne Stevens, 81, of Salisbury

SALISBURY — Elizabeth Dianne Stevens, 81, died Saturday evening, April 15, 2023, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born Feb. 17, 194,2 in Roslindale, Mass., the daughter of David Gerard and Elizabeth Natalie (Hatch) Foley.

Elizabeth enjoyed working with the elderly as a nurse’s aide. She and her husband owned and operated Middlebury Antique Center in East Middlebury. In her later years, she enjoyed going to Project Independence.

She is survived by her husband, Francis J. Stevens Jr., of Salisbury; her daughters, Lee Ann Goodrich (Ernest) of Salisbury, Judy Fyles (Tad) of Orwell and Deb Stevens (partner Maurice Quenneville) of Salisbury; her sister. Joanne Butler (Brother-in-law Robert) of Rockland, Mass.; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents, her brother, David Foley and sister, Patricia Bishop.

A special thank you to ACHHH, all her wonderful friends at Project Independence, Joye, Janet, Sarah and the wonderful staff at Shard Villa.

Per her wishes a private burial will be held at West Side Cemetery in Salisbury.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dianne’s name to Project Independence, 112 Exchange St, Middlebury, VT.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Sanderson-Ducharme Funeral Home.
