ARTHUR LEE KELLY III

CROWN POINT, N.Y. — Arthur Lee Kelly III, 69, of Crown Point, N.Y., passed away on March 17, 2023.

Arthur, fondly known as Art, was born to Arthur Lee Kelly Jr. and Geraldine Harriet Wilkie on Sept.7, 1953, in Ticonderoga, N.Y.

He loved fishing in his boat, hunting and spending time at hunting camp with Richard Buel and friends. He also enjoyed ice fishing and spending time with his family and his Siberian husky, Bear. He was quite the inspiration and mentor to many friends and people for his great accomplishment of 31 years with a twelve-step program.

Art is survived by his four sisters, Helena Kelly from Fort Edward, N.Y.; Kathy Kelly from Glens Falls, N.Y.; Robin Kelly-McMaster from Queensbury, N.Y.; and Paula Kelly-Battease from Glens Falls, N.Y. Art was predeceased by his sister, Patsy Kelly-Haran. He is also survived by his son Ryan and spouse Lisa Kelly, and his oldest son, Darren Kelly. His grandchildren include Olivia Kelly, Karen Kelly, Darren Kelly Jr., Troy Kelly, Nicholas Kelly and Hunter Kelly.

Art’s family will host a celebration of life on Saturday, May 6, 2023, at his Crown Point residence. The service will be invitation only.◊
