Food teaches about Central American culture
WENDY AND HER daughter Briggette Giron immigrated to Vermont from Guatemala around four years ago. On Tuesday, they shared a piece of their home country with New Haven students by helping serve an authentic Guatemalan lunch at Beeman Elementary School.
