Letter to the editor: No Roe, but weapons still readily available
Irony rules the day when the Supreme Court reverses its own ruling on abortion rights and many women, depending on which state they live in, will lose their personal freedom to decide their wishes, and possible punishment, if they go out of state for an abortion. All to save human lives, should we believe the politicians.
This is a bitter pill to swallow when manufacturers can freely produce assault weapons, stores can freely sell them, and buyers can freely buy them. Background checks? Great.
Whoa! Am I still waking up in America? I’m so mad, I can’t take it anymore.
But I can still freely vote for politicians who represent my views. Let’s all do that in the upcoming elections. SHOUT your views from the highest rooftops.
