Hockey players named all-stars

MIDDLEBURY — Three members of the Middlebury Union High School boys’ hockey team and two Tiger girls’ skaters have received postseason recognition from the Division II and Tier II coaches, respectively.

The D-II boys’ coaches chose Tiger goalie Eddie Hodde as a member of the league’s Second Team, and forwards Kellen Bartlett and Toby Draper received Honorable Mention.

The Tier II girls’ coaches voted Tiger forward Avery Gale to the Second Team.

In addition, Tiger forward Patience Hanley was honored as a Girls’ Hockey Academic All-Star, a distinction given to seniors who maintain at least a 3.5 grade-point average.
