Starksboro to weigh fate of snowmobile trail

ROADSIDE SIGNS LIKE this one, meant to direct snowmobile traffic, began popping up on Ireland and Conway roads in Starksboro in early December, without. A local snowmobiling club has since filed a formal request to use these two roads as part of a snowmobile trail, but many landowners in the area are opposed to the idea.

Homeowners on Ireland and Conway roads in Starksboro are waiting with some trepidation for the meeting of the town’s selectboard on Tuesday, Jan. 4, which my well decide the fate of their neighborhood.
