Vermont State Police Log: Alleged assault ends with two citations
ADDISON COUNTY — Vermont State Police are reporting that a Ferrisburgh man this past Sunday assaulted a member of his household then wouldn’t let the person call for help.
On July 11 at approximately 5:41 a.m., troopers of the Vermont State Police were dispatched to a family fight at a residence on Basin Harbor Road in Ferrisburgh. Through investigation troopers determined that John Larson, 29, of Ferrisburgh had caused bodily harm to a domestic partner who lived at the residence.
Larson also interfered with access to emergency services when the victim tried to call for help, police report.
Police took Larson into custody, transported him to the New Haven state police barracks, and cited him for domestic assault and two counts of interference with emergency services.
They released Larson with conditions.
That was the only report from troopers operating out of the New Haven barracks this week.
