BRISTOL — Melissa A. Norris, daughter of Michelle G. Norris of Starksboro and Alan D. Norris of Hinesburg, passed away unexpectedly July 11, 2021. She was born July 4, 1975.

She leaves her parents, her beloved son, Dakota A. Norris, and birth daughter Violet Michelle Norris Whitcomb; brother Mathew A. Norris and Carla Jimmo; stepmom Nancy Norris and sister Natalie Norris; many special aunts, uncles and cousins, and especially Amie and Dave Whitcomb, Violet’s parents. 

She was predeceased by her brother Clinton Norris and all of her grandparents.

Melissa was a beautiful, artistic woman, gifted hairdresser and pewtersmith but struggled with addiction her whole life.

In honor of Melissa, contributions can be made to HOPE, 282 Boardman Street, Middlebury, VT 05753.  A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.◊
