Wayne E. Hutchinson Sr., 92, of Bristol

BRISTOL — Wayne E. Hutchinson, 92, passed away Monday, June 21, 2021 at his home in Bristol. Wayne was preceded in death by his wife, Florence (Bessett) Hutchinson and son Wayne Jr. and his sisters Helen and Gwenlyn.
He was born on Dec. 23, 1928, in Waterville the son of Harry and Marjorie (Clapper) Hutchinson.
As a young adult he served in the United States Army, Korean War ‘51-‘52. Upon moving to Bristol he was a sawyer for Lathrops for many years and later kept many Bristol business lawns beautifully manicured. Wayne enjoyed being outdoors, picnics with his family and taking them on Sunday drives. These past few years he looked forward to being taken on those Sunday drives and stopping for a creemee along the way. He loved to talk about old vehicles and particularly enjoyed Chevy Impalas. Prior to COVID he looked forward to day visits to Project Independence in Middlebury.
Wayne is survived by one sister, Adeline Hutchinson; his daughter Brenda Hutchinson; his sons Randy Hutchinson, Steve Hutchinson, Mark Hutchinson and his wife Amanda; six grandchildren, Steven Hutchinson, Chantal Peters, Aliah Montgomery, Madyson Hutchinson, Genysis Berube and Shayne Berube; six great-grandchildren, Gavin, Jocelynne, Aryanna, Sophia, Noah and Vivienne; and several nieces and nephews.
